Help need cheap homemade gift ideas for community service event? - gift ideas

Hello. I am a student organization that is based on the service. We have a mark from a gift shop for people on campus to make gifts for the children in the hospital. We spend about $ 1000, but we have a lot of gifts. Any ideas would be very grateful!

I craft kits for children in hospital. They live together and are easy to make and children will love. You are a magnet for the posts of the bed or IV, a pin on their clothing or a clip to the pipe clip. See my profile for my address and I will give instructions and photos. Very cheap and easy.

All I can think of is to go to thrift shop and buy things made a material good, but strong enough to be used to do things plush. Use it to stuffed animals - they do not have to be huge, and not even look like anything special. A favorite toy in our house was a simple cylinder with a long nose and eyes fixed on one end. You can have your eyes or embroidered on them or (the use of contrast agents, but you have the edge when the felt is not)

Or you can use Google for craft ideas.

Here's an idea. Try to be filled by theme baskets of artisanal products. For example, you can create a basket full of thread, so people can do things like knit hats for children, a basket full of shirts, tie-dye and a basket full of corn bracelets.

I Gift Baskets for Christmas this year. $ 10 for every basket full of good care, or toys or games. Go to the nearest dollar store and look around and see what we can do. We recommend that you also put up flyers saying that his group has asked to help small gifts, safe and gentle for their cause.:) I am pretty sure you have enough for everyone. Even family and friends!
