Are the Kaplan practice tests really similar to the actual ones? - kaplan and sadock

I studied the practice ISEE test using the Kaplan book because someone told me it was very close to the actual conditions. Is that true? Can I expect the same kind of questions? What other methods will help me better results? Thank you in advance.
