I had my friend send me the mpq files for diablo2 lod.. help!? - cd key till mount and blade

Diablo 2 LOD my disc is ruined, and I uninstalled awhoile fact, but want to leave the only one for my friend who sent me MPQ files re-install .. works well, but when I try, a battle of network-type problem has always said .. "battle.net is not correctly identify the version of your application. now I think it's because I hadnt written in my CD Key. because they do not have to. Now the real question is how do I write in my CD-Key, and what is the best sandbox.
